About 500 policymakers and negotiators, journalists, rural development practitioners, farmers, civil society and the agriculture and climate change scientific community.

Please note that the Ritson Campus is located approximately 3.5 kilometres (approximately 9 minutes by car) from the International Convention Centre (ICC) Durban. Use Google Maps for directions or download the direction map from ICC to DUT Ritson Campus.

How to get to DUT Ritson Campus?
There are several ways to get to the ARDD venue at DUT Ritson Campus:
1. ARDD 2011 Shuttle Bus
There will be a shuttle bus provided for ARDD 2011 participants from the Durban north beach area to the ARDD venue at DUT Ritson Campus.
The shuttle bus will be parked at the parking lot adjacent to the Pavilion Hotel (15 K E Masinga Rd
Durban 4063, South Africa) at beachfront, beside the “Durban Tourism Information Office”.
Look for a bus branded with the ARDD 2011 logo. The bus will depart to Ritson Campus at the following schedules:
- 07.30 am
- 08.00 am
- 08.30 am
2. Taxis
Metered taxis are common, safe and relatively inexpensive. These taxis will be operating in the key COP17/CMP7 zones. Registered metered taxis are clearly marked with an official eThekwini Transport Authority decal, so that you can be assured of the quality and safety of the service that you are getting from your taxi.
